Baul the popular cultural way of life, is mainly dependent upon songs which are written by Lalon also known as Lalongiti. Lalon Fakir is the main pioneer and the greatestspokesperson of the Baul tradition. Baul songs reflect the Baul philosophy of Dehototto. Lalon’s philosophy of humanity rejects all distinctions of caste, class and creed and takes a stand against religious conflicts and racism.
