Tripura’s Bamboo Made Imitated Instrument

Email: rajatpink190@gmail.com Abstract Tripura is a land of rich musical treasure and diversity as well when music is not only a medium of Mere entertainment but also a love and attraction of life. The form of music was different in different places with a diversity of language culture and contemporary influence of popular music. Instruments of Indian classical music are also imitated by the bamboos of Tripura which will be found in this paper. Different types of bamboo are the material to make the instruments in Tripura. Here this paper has attempted to study bamboo-made instruments of Tripura which was never known in any paper or books. This paper will discuss the history of these instruments, playing techniques, measurements and instrument-making process.
