Instruments of Indian classical music are also imitated by the bamboos of Tripura which will be found in this paper. Different types of bamboo are the material to make the instruments in Tripura. Here this paper has attempted to study bamboo-made instruments of Tripura which was never known in any paper or books. In 1971 alone more than 70-71 lives were lost in the ‘Khatam Abhiyan’ of the CPI (ML). Comrade Charu Majumder wrote a letter to the Naxalists of Birbhum on October 11 this year, “Dear Comrade, there are victories as well as defeats in the struggle…”.
