Lokogandhar Journal adheres to UGC guidelines, offering valuable support to researchers and educators in promoting their scholarly contributions. We have taken the initiative to establish this platform, although its full realization is still a work in progress. Consequently, prospective contributors to this journal should be well-informed and prepared when submitting their work. Each submitted article will undergo rigorous evaluation before publication. This journal (Lokgandhar) is not listed under the UGC CARE Journal. But it is an ISSN Peer-Reviewed Journal. Send the article for publication after knowing this.

We extend an earnest invitation to all researchers to confidently submit their articles for consideration. Lokogandhar Journal is dedicated to disseminating research articles across a spectrum of disciplines, including arts, fine arts, and sciences. We commit to publishing six issues annually, with an unwavering emphasis on meticulous review and critical assessment by esteemed professors from various colleges and universities to ensure the highest quality. Minimal corrections and enhancements, such as spelling and grammar, may be made by the editorial team, exercising their prerogative.

Rest assured, any grievances will be thoroughly investigated. We encourage you to submit your articles with an open mind, recognizing that the primary purpose of our journal is to foster intellectual growth and expand the boundaries of knowledge. Therefore, we eagerly anticipate your valuable contributions.

‘লোকগান্ধার’ কোন দেশ বা কালের নাম নয়। এখানে ‘লোক’ কথাটি সমষ্টি ও ঐতিহ্যের পরিপূরক। আর গান্ধার আভিজাত্যের। এক সময় গান্ধার নামে একটি দেশ ছিল উত্তর ভারতে। এখন তা’ আফগানিস্তানের অন্তর্গত। আফগানিস্তানের কান্দাহার অঞ্চল। যেখানে উন্নত সভ্যতা গড়ে উঠেছিল। গান্ধার শিল্প, গান্ধর্ব গান তারই নিদর্শন। যেখানে ভারতীয় সভ্যতা আধুনিকতা ও আভিজাত্য পেয়েছিল। যাই হোক, আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য ঐতিহ্য ও আধুনিকতার মেলবন্ধন ঘটানো। গবেষণা, প্রকাশ, আলোচনা – সমালোচনায় জ্ঞানের বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রগুলিকে বিকশিত করা।

ইউজিসির নির্দেশে ইউজিসির-র তালিকাভূক্ত হলে পত্রিকাগুলিতে লেখা প্রকাশ পেলে তা গবেষক ও অধ্যাপকদের মান বা পদোন্নতির সহায়ক হবে। আমরা উদ্যোগ নিয়েছি। আমরা যথানিয়মে পত্রিকাটি ইউ জি সি-র তালিকাভূক্তির জন্য পাঠিয়েছি। এই জার্নালটি (লোকগান্ধার) ইউ জি সি কেয়ার জার্নালের তালিকাভূক্ত নয়। তবে ISSN Peer-Reviewed জার্নাল। এটা জেনেই লেখা পাঠাবেন।

এখন যারা লেখা দেবেন, তারা সব জেনেই লেখা দেবেন। তবে লেখাগুলি যথাযথ মূল্যায়ন করেই প্রকাশ করা হবে। সব গবেষকদেরই দ্বিধাহীন চিত্তে পত্রিকা প্রকাশের কাজে পাশে থাকার আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি।

পত্রিকাটি গবেষণামূলক লেখা প্রকাশের জন্য। এখানে কলা, চারুকলা, দৃশ্যকলা ওসমাজ বিজ্ঞানের বিভিন্ন বিষয় নিয়ে নিরন্তর গবেষণা মূলক লেখা প্রকাশ করা হবে। বছরে ছ’টি সংখ্যা প্রকাশ পাবে। নিরন্তর লেখা নেওয়া ও লেখাগুলি সম্পর্কে আলোচনা ও সমালোচনা চলবে। যথাসম্ভব গুনমান বজায় রাখার জন্য বিভিন্ন কলেজ- বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক-অধ্যাপিকা ও বিশিষ্ট গুনীদের মূল্যায়নের পরই লেখাগুলি প্রকাশ পাবে। ন্যূনতম সংশোধন, সংযোজন-বিয়োজন (বানান, ব্যকরণ ইত্যাদি) সম্পাদকমণ্ডলী করে নিতে পারে। এই স্বাধীনতা তাদের থাকা দরকার। তবে যেকোন অভিযোগই খতিয়ে দেখা হবে। খোলা মনে লেখা পাঠাবেন। পত্রিকা প্রকাশের মূল উদ্দেশ্য নিজেদের জ্ঞান ও উতকর্ষতা বাড়ানো। কোন আর্থিক সম্পর্কের ভিত্তিতে লেখা নেওয়া হয় না।
